Development Solutions, Inc.


DSI Interests Inc. was formed by Craig Manske and Daniel Mazeiro  to invest and develop properties in the Chicago area. Craig Manske is also a Managing Partner of Development Solutions Inc., a diversified construction services firm and general contractor started in 1992 with over $50,000,000 of revenue annually.  Prior to forming DSI, Craig Manske was a Division Partner for the Trammel Crow Company’s Office Division in Chicago.  His responsibilities included overseeing all the office building development from site acquisition, planning and construction to financing and leasing of completed buildings.

Craig Manske received a Bachelors of Business Administration – Finance in 1979, and a Masters in Real Estate Appraisal and Investment Analysis in 1981 from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Wisconsin.

Daniel Mazeiro is responsible for overseeing construction projects for Development Solutions Inc. Prior to that he was an architect in partnership with the Marshall Bennett Organization. Prior to that he founded and managed LVM Architects an architectural design firm in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He received  a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University in 1992.

Washington Properties Inc. and DSI have collaborated on the acquisition and or development of over 1,000,000 square feet of industrial buildings in the Chicago area and Northern Virginia and have purchased over 35 acres of land for rezoning and sale.

In conjunction with BlackRock, Inc. as its capital partner, Washington Properties invested in projects in the Chicago area and Washington DC. BlackRock is one of the largest publicly traded investment management firms in the United States with $452.7 billion in assets under management as of December 31,2005. BlackRock manages on behalf of institutional and individual investors worldwide through a variety of equity, fixed income, liquidity and alternative investment products.

BlackRock Realty, the real estate equity arm of BlackRock, is a national real estate advisor offering a broad array of strategies and investment management services to institutional investors. BlackRock Realty acquires institutional-quality properties. BlackRock considers Class A and Class B properties, as well as value-added and development opportunities when they meet portfolio investment criteria.

BlackRock also enters into joint venture relationships.
